At school Sara earned the Promethean Award for Outstanding Achievement because she maintained above a 3.9 GPA all year. She is part of the newspaper staff and has her own column where she writes about what it is like being an international student. She is also on the dance and tennis teams, Student Council, and is involved with the International Club.

A creative and humble young woman, Andrea’s positive attitude and willingness to help has made her an asset to her community. She has been keeping busy by running for the track team and singing in the choir at school. As a result of getting straight A’s in school, she earned an academic letter. Andrea volunteers with the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) to help those in need and was a student aide for the local second grade class.
