November 14th-18th ACES students all over the U.S. gave special presentations to be a part of the global educational event, International Education Week. ACES students gave presentations, showed videos and shared songs, dance, and food from their home country with to their classmates and community.
ACES launched its second year of the US Department of State’s National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) program at the end of June in Washington DC. Two groups of 20 US high school students traveled with ACES staff and Resident Directors for the long flights to Beijing and Istanbul, respectively.
ACES invited its exchange students to participate in our annual International Education Week Contest last winter by giving cultural presentations for groups in their local communities and documenting them through photography and written essays.
